Built From the Ground Up

In 2006, Scott Smith launched BACH Land Development, LLC—initially focused on residential land development and custom home building. In 2009, BACH was contacted to renovate a community of manufactured homes while the market for new home construction was in a slump.  BACH delivered quickly and on budget, opening the door to additional community renovation programs.   This work expanded nationwide to the full-scale setup and installation of manufactured homes and the renovation and expansion of associated clubhouse and community amenities.  Recognizing the simultaneous growing opportunity in commercial construction, Scott created a dedicated commercial construction division as a full-service general contractor, steadily expanding its geographic footprint and service capabilities, while the manufactured home installation and renovation divisions continued to thrive.   Today, BACH operates nationally with a deep roster of repeat commercial clients, many of them publicly traded.

Under Scott’s leadership, BACH has delivered a broad portfolio of commercial projects including automotive dealership renovations and expansions; high-rise hotel renovations in Las Vegas; clubhouse and amenity renovations for manufactured home communities; restaurant and retail construction and renovation; and large-scale site development across the Pacific Northwest and Southeast. The company has also executed comprehensive hurricane response and disaster recovery contracts for two major REITs spanning Florida and Texas.

Scott has instilled his hands-on approach and commitment to accountability throughout the company, ensuring that BACH continues to be a preferred contractor delivering excellence, and continually exceeding client expectations.
